First thing I need, a terrain. It has to have a kind of path with some space to place the foliage... To the right, making one in Bryce 5.1.

Terrains have been saved as:
-*.bmp, to edit, and/or display at the renderer.

-*.psd images, to work/add with layers in any graphic editor if needed.

-*.pgm format, to import them into a terrain modeler and enhance surfaces, if needed.

Making a 3D scene from a sketch -figurative-

Terrain
part 1

Starting with the path. The sketch is just a point of reference.

To the right, the surface goes down, as in a mountain

To the left, it goes up for the same reason. Let's keep it simple.

These are the "just in case" images. This one above is only the path, just in case I need to apply a specific texture or a map to it. It's better than dealing with the texture underneath.

This is the opposite. Just in case I need to use it to run a plugin for placing the green areas. Saved.
